CERTIFICATION IN COLLABORATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING


Dr. Greene is committed to training mental health professionals and educators who can implement Collaborative Problem Solving with fidelity in clinical and education settings. Along these lines, the first certification training for providers of CPS will be offered in the fall. And the first certification training for trainers will be offered in winter, 2011. Details on both trainings will be posted here before the end of July. Also coming soon: certification training for CPS support group leaders. Stay tuned!

 

ADVANCED TRAININGS


Dr. Greene provides advanced trainings for mental health professionals and educators seeking more intensive training in the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach. The offerings for 2010 are listed below. To obtain additional information, or to register, click on the sponsor of each training.

Level I Training:
This training is appropriate for educators and clinicians who have already had some exposure to the CPS model and are seeking to enhance their level of knowledge of the model and skill in its implementation:

June 23-25: Vancouver, British Columbia Already completed
July 7-9: Portland, Maine Already completed
August 11-12: Stockholm, Sweden This advanced training is fully enrolled
August 16-18: Forest Grove, Oregon This advanced training is fully enrolled

Level II Training:
This training is structured similarly to the Level I Advanced Training and is appropriate for those who have attended a prior Level I training (and for prior Level II attendees who want to refresh their skills and get caught up with all the updates and modifications that have occurred over the past 2-3 years). This training is designed to provide maximum opportunities for practice. (Please note that it's not possible to attend both the Level I and Level II advanced trainings during the same summer.)

Known for his dynamic, engaging, persuasive presentations, Dr. Greene lectures internationally, and the trainings shown below are an outstanding way to get started on learning about the CPS model (several can be viewed live from any location via the web). Programs vary in length and there may be an admission charge to attend, depending on the sponsor of each seminar.
